Achieving realistic committed schedules on any project

Duration: 1 Day

Audience: This course is targeted at individuals in all project roles - leading, managing or contributing to projects.

Description: This course improves every role's ability to realistically plan, schedule and complete project work. Through case simulation exercises, participants in this 1-day course experience creating realistic and high-quality project schedules. Participants solve planning challenges in the roles of project managers, leads, and team members in a cross-functional planning process. They learn step-by-step techniques for creating sound schedules that the team can buy into and successfully execute.

This course covers the collaborative use of practical tools such as milestone charts, quality and release criteria, estimating techniques, review checklists, tradeoff analysis, and budget/cost worksheets, all aimed at getting to a thorough, doable, team-committed schedule.
