Audience: This course is targeted at individuals whose role includes the responsibilities of a
project manager, or team leader and who want to improve their ability to build relationships and influence
people to meet project goals.
Description: This 1 1/2 day course uses simulation-based project situations to provide practical
techniques for combining project process tools with the critical people-driven aspects of project success.
This course shows project team leaders how to be far more than the chief implementer of project management
"mechanics." Developing the team, encouraging open communication, influencing effectively, reaching effective
decisions and managing conflict are all part of leading a project. Participants learn how optimize solid
project manager skills within a project team environment to achieve project success
Learning Objectives: Upon completion, the participant will understand how to:
- Use Project Scope processes to develop and communicate a team-wide understanding of the project's business goals
- Develop project team member commitment and engagement throughout the project
